Gematrical pattern of words

The gematrical pattern of words is often an indicator of the meaning of the word itself. An example can be seen in the word cherub, Cherubs are understood to be  angel like creatures and are first mentioned in Gen. 3:24 in the story of the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve are evicted from the Garden and cherubs stand with flaming swords guarding the way to  the Tree of Life. They are next mentioned in an apparent role of guarding over the Arc of the Covenant (Ex. 25:18–22). Cherub is spelled caph-resh-bethכרב  with a gematrical sequence of 20-200-2. The sequence suggests the three realms of duality: the physical realm of ‘2’, the conscious realm of ‘20’ and the spiritual realm of ‘200’. The implication of this sequence is that the cherub are guarding against man from passing the world of duality at these three levels into the world of oneness – that of the Tree of Life and the oneness that lives in the arc of the Covenant.
